Jon Rapaport

After graduating from MIT, Jon began his career at Goldman Sachs, investing proprietary capital for GCPI. Since his first investment in a Colombian coal mine, he has shifted to focus on sustainability over the last several years. Jon has experience as investor and entrepreneur having worked as CFO for a healthcare tech company and ran operations for a global home cleaning business. Jon graduated from Columbia Business School in 2021.

Eli is a Managing Partner and Co-founder of Planetree. Prior to founding Planetree, he spent almost a decade at Millennium Management, one of the largest hedge funds globally with almost $50 billion of AUM. At Millennium, he focused on investing in companies in the Energy and Industrials sectors, developing deep relationships with senior management teams across each industry. He received a B.S. in Finance & International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Eli lives in New York City.
